Session Topic Learning Objectives

Session 1 Character Development

The fundamentals of self awareness are taught as the basis of character development. Session designed to improve interpersonal relationships and strengths families.

• Increase self awareness

• Increase participation in positive relationships

Session 2 Peer Pressure

Participants will explore the differences between positive and negative peer pressure. Techniques to decrease the impact of negative influences will be taught and discussed.

• Learned ways to resist negative peer pressure

• Learned ways to use positive peer pressure

Session 3 Anti Social Behavior

Session is designed to assist students to become skilled at identifying their own feelings and how those feelings drive behavior. Activities focus on the development of healthy relationships through team building.

Session 4 Relationships

Session focuses on the components of relationships and positive relationship building. Participants will understand how strategic relationships are their own personal development.

• How to have healthy relationships

Session 5 Substance Abuse

Session teaches the nature and use of chemicals and the effects on the home and family. Participants will understand how the use of alcohol and drugs play a major role in educational dysfunction and community destruction.

• Understand the four stages of substance abuse and abuse of drugs

• Understand how substance use and abuse affects the family

Session 6 Evaluation and Review

The fundamentals of self awareness are taught as the basis of character development.
